**Chapter 17 - Kindling Hope**

201 Words
“The islands must reset to their original positions in order to reveal Silva,” Eira told Vale and Arlo breathlessly upon returning from the Sky Falls. She recounted the vision's meaning that had unfolded during deep meditation. Vale crossed her arms. “That seems beyond any magic we wield... Caelum itself would sink pursuing such a fruitless goal.” But Arlo pondered stroking his braided beard. “Realigning the archipelago will require artifacts infused with immense elemental power. Like mythic cores that legends say rest in each island’s heart.” “Of course! Combined, the cores could grant control over ley lines and geography itself,” Eira said excitedly. Arlo grinned. “Then our quest is clear - gather the elemental cores to orchestrate the islands’ restructuring and unlock Silva Terram.” Eira's heart swelled with hope. She felt the air glistening and the towering roots and bark resonating otherworldly. Crossing to a cliff edge overlooking the sea, she gazed west towards smoldering Pyra. They would find a way against the impossible odds. Her parents had not given up ages ago when Silva was lost. For their legacy and all who dwell in the skies, she could not falter now.
