Kelvin deftly flipped the sword with one hand and grabbed the scarlet assassin's arm with the other. He twisted it and pinned her to the ground. The scarlet assassin was taken aback by Kelvin's swift movement. "His reflexes are very fast," she murmured to herself. "He is not an average Joe," she pondered. Kelvin, on the other hand, addressed the scarlet assassin: "Do you think I am that easy to capture or kill?" They locked eyes for a moment before Monroe joined them. "Now that we have captured her, what do we do with her?" asked Monroe. "She has two choices - either she tells us what we need to know and maybe, probably gets to live, or if she chooses not to cooperate, she could as well die right here," replied Monroe. He turned to the scarlet assassin and said, "It's up to you." "I am an assassin, so I welcome death," she declared. "But you are going to die a painful death," added Kelvin. "In the end, however, I am not saying anything. It would be better if you just provide us with the information we need," Kelvin said coolly. The scarlet assassin let out a sigh before saying, "You can do your worst." Kelvin didn't bother to explain anything to her again, he just made a call and before long, a group of men in a black sedan car came rushing in.
"Take her away and torture her," the boss ordered. "Please don't stop until she gives us the information we need." "Yes, Boss," the men replied before leaving the same way they came.
Soon after, Monroe and Kelvin were left alone. "Your skills have improved a lot since I last saw you," Monroe complimented Kelvin. "You taught me well," Kelvin remarked. "Since you are here now, you can assist me with something," Kelvin concluded. "How can I be of help to you?" Monroe asked. "Someone has been trying to assassinate me. He or she has made more than three attempts on my life."
"Don't worry, we will solve this problem together," Monroe assured him. "But first, I need a place to rest. It has been a long day."
Kelvin quickly took Monroe to a private hotel owned by Don Chavez. "You can stay here as long as you need. You are our VIP guest," Kelvin said. "I have to go now, there are things I need to take care of," he added before leaving.
In the hidden torture dungeon, where the notorious assassin known as Scarlet was imprisoned, a sharp knock echoed through the cold walls. The security guard demanded to know the identity of the visitor. "It's me, Kelvin," came the simple reply. Kelvin entered and carefully observed Scarlet before speaking up, "You nearly ended my life tonight." Scarlet chuckled and teasingly retorted, "You're a tough guy, you can handle it." But before she could finish her sentence, Kelvin interjected with a serious tone, "I have a job for you. Don't disappoint me this time." Scarlet confidently replied, "When have I ever let you down?" Kelvin's request was to eliminate Monroe. Scarlet was taken aback and left speechless for a moment. She eventually gathered herself and questioned, "You saved him from me earlier, and now you want me to kill him?" Kelvin's face remained stoic as he explained, "I saved him because you didn't have permission to take a life in our territory. But now, I am granting you that permission and my approval to eliminate him." Scarlet couldn't help but ask, "Why do you want to kill your own mentor?" Kelvin's response was cold and calculated, "Because he betrayed us. He has been colluding with our enemies for far too long, attempting to bring us down. We spared him before because he was not in our territory, but now, he has fallen out of favor with the Sun Gang and is seeking our aid once again. He is trying to spark a war between our two sides, and I cannot allow it. He thinks he is smarter than all of us."
The Sun Gang had officially informed us that Monroe had made a deal with the police to turn us in. So, do you think we should allow someone like that to live? I know you were surprised I didn't kill you earlier. It was for this very reason that I spared your life, so that you could help us get rid of him.
And before you ask why I am not using my own personal, let me explain. It's simple, he would see us coming if we used my own personal, Kelvin explained further.
"Do we have a deal, Miss Scarlet?" Kelvin asked. "A life for a life?" Scarlet did a double take before agreeing to the deal. "By the way, once I am done executing the order," she giggled before trailing off, "you are taking me to dinner. That is my condition."
Kelvin was taken aback by her demands and quickly asked, "Wasn't that unprofessional of her?" Scarlet didn't say much, she just gave Kelvin a signal, indicating she only wanted to talk to him. He immediately understood and signaled for the men to leave the cell. Only Kelvin and Scarlet were left standing, then Scarlet took off her facial mask to reveal her face. Kelvin was left with a stunned expression, the words "wow, wow" could be heard leaving his lips. He pondered to himself, "Scarlet is really beautiful."
After exchanging a long gaze, Scarlet slowly put her mask back on and said, "Now you have seen what's behind the mask. As I mentioned before, you promised to take me out for dinner once the assignment is completed." This time, Kelvin didn't hesitate and immediately agreed.
Scarlet then thought of something and asked, "What about Don Chavez? Do we have his permission?" Kelvin nodded without hesitation and informed her that he had given the order earlier in the day. He was the one who revealed Monroe's evil intentions to Kelvin.
"What is Monroe's current whereabouts?" Scarlet asked with a serious expression. "He's staying at the Red Hotel, in the VIP room on the top floor," replied Kelvin. "When do you want to take action?" Scarlet asked. "Right now," Kelvin replied. "I don't want to waste any time on it."
"I'll go in first to deal with him, but don't kill him immediately. I want him to see my face and know that we are aware of his evil plans," Scarlet instructed Kelvin. He then signaled to Scarlet that it was time to leave before saying, "Shall we begin?"
