CHAPTER 11

541 Words
Shahid takes me to his room and kisses me roughly, more like punishing me. I don't even know why I subconsciously kissed him back but when I did, I could feel his smile on my lips and I come out of my daze. I push him away and surprisingly, he moves away without fighting with me. "You do know that you are as affected by me as I am by you, don't you?" "No. It's nothing like that." "Oh yeah? Let's check it." He said but I dodged him and ran out of my room, my cheeks turning hot. If a woman has almost no male contact in her entire life, then her state would be the same as mine. Even though I hate him, I can't help but be nervous whenever he is close to me. "Come on love, we need to get ready. My parents will be here after an hour. Order the cook to prepare something for lunch," he says, suddenly becoming serious, for which I am grateful. I go to the kitchen and tell the cook the normal dishes every Muslim likes to eat. I get ready and wait for their arrival. Will they also abuse me like their son did? What if they are not good? I suddenly hear sound of a car screeching. I guess they're here. I wait there until I see an old couple enter the room. They are surprisingly gentle looking and I couldn't help but give them one of my genuine smiles. I love them already. Shahid comes and sits beside me on the sofa. They both take seats across ours, smiling gently. We are introduced to each other by Shahid and I zone out of their entire conversation, playing with my fingers. Although they both are lovely, but still it's not comfortable for me. Much to my relief, the maid comes and tells us that lunch is ready and we sit around the dining table. I play with my fingers nervously. "Jessie, are you nervous,"Shahid asks, looking concerned. I suck in a breath. This is the first time he is using my nickname, the nickname through which only he used call me... I nod timidly. He sighs, before excusing us and taking me with him to our room. "Jessie, are you nervous?" "It's Jessica for you," I protest, only earning an amused chuckle. I shake my head and try to leave but he holds me and sighs. "Okay, sorry. I will let them know that we would like to be excused and they can have their dinner and sleep in their room and then I will bring us food," saying this, he got up and went out. He comes five minutes later with a plate of food in his hand. I don't have any hunger. So, I eat some of it and give the plate to Shahid. He surprisingly takes the plate and goes out. I lay down to sleep. They were good. I hope I didn't seem rude to them. If I make Shahid angry, I know that I am only making things difficult for myself, and also they are good people, at least it appears like that. Thinking this, I close my eyes and sleep quickly overcomes me...
