CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO Victoria’s face registered a blank expression for a second before she gave a short laugh of disbelief,” What kind of sick joke is this?”   “Its not a joke, Vicky,”   “It kind of sounds like a joke to me. Why would anyone blackmail you like that? Liam and I have nothing going between us. I mean, this morning something almost happened but we got absolutely nothing, okay? Look, whatever game you are trying to play with me, just stop,” it seemed pretty hilarious.   He scrolled through his phone messages, glanced around for second before pushing it into Vicky’s hands.   “Click that audio and see if I’m playing around,” he said.   She shrugged, her index finger clicking on the audio, only for a clearly computer altered voice to float in the quietness of her office.
