Chapter 3: Mortal life

*** In the mortal realm ***

" It is a boy"

One of the nurses shouted joyfully as a mortal mother was breathing heavily, trying to regain her conscious.

I want to see my baby. The mortal mother said feebly, she stretched her hands. You really needs to take a chill pill before you can see your bouncing baby boy. You need to receive some injections. The doctor justified and injected her with sleeping injections which made her to sleep for some hours.

She later opened her eyes and sighted her baby on her husband's hands, she was looking a bit haggard. Zoe, you are awake. The doctor told me that he injected you to regain your conscience. I was afraid because of your terrible sleep but I can see you alive now. A man said graciously.

Zoe is the baby boy's mother. The couple has been looking for child since their marriage which was six years ago. Zoe was from a rich family but when her father departed of a car accident. The shares of their business went down and the bank began to ask for the loan her father borrowed. Her father used all their belongings as the collateral which made the bank to collect everything from them and they began to live as a beggar.

Her mother departed of stroke remaining Zoe, the only child of her parent. She started a new life as an orphan and she married a man.

"Is our baby okay? Where are your family members? Zoe questioned non-chalantly. You don't need to worry about them, they are fine. Our baby is a wonderful child, he hasn't cried since his birth which every born child used to engage in that act. I don't think he is ordinary. The man replied jokingly which brought smiles out of her face. She tapped him and responded "You can't say that to our first child".

Have I been discharged? I feel like staying at home. She added. You need some rest before going to our house according to the doctor's statement. The man talked back in a desirable way and manner.

I don't want to listen to doctor's advice. I am already okay and had regained my conscience. I need to be discharged now. She justified with a serious tone.

If you insist, I will ask the doctor about your discharge. You can carry your baby now. He replied with a smiling face.

I think I prefer this family even though I hate living with mortals. I have been longing for a great family like this but it is difficult to find it and I can choose family by myself. I was only having a incredible mother when I was a demon and I was aware that I was having a father but I can't recollect his face. I am already forgetting my past memories. I think my demonic mom will be looking at me from the demonic realm. I need to acquire more power in order to save my mom and collect my demonic powers. That was the court lady's statement. The baby said quietly. He didn't know about his demonic mother's death.

The man entered the room and said" The doctor has discharged you" I like to hear that statement but we need to name this child before our departure. Zoe suggested.

Jayden, what are your suggestions? Zoe asked, trying to break the silence between them. Yeah, I think that is a good idea. He replied. Mention the name you desired so much and I will say my own too at the same time. One, two,ready go. ETHAN. Both of them mentioned the name and they smiled at each other. I think that name is a nice one. Jayden said and nodded his head.

They departed from the hospital and went to their home, they celebrated the birth with drinks and meals and many people attended the celebration.

*** 15 years later ***

wake up, you sleepy head. You are late to school. Zoe shouted which raised Ethan from his sleep and he freshened up quickly. Ethan is ravishing awesome, cute, attractive and good looking. He has a spotless face with pink lips and bright eyes.

He rushed his food and gulped down a cup of fruit juice. He left the house with his mother. That was the first time of schooling for Ethan. He was pleased and satisfied.

He was wearing a new school uniform with his new school bag at his back and foot wears. Wow, this school has a large and beautiful compound with tall trees and nice flowers. Ethan said at his first sight.

I can't enter the school compound now, I need to attend some important places but promise me that you won't cause any trouble or disagreement. Zoe replied calmly. I promise you, mom. I can't do that, I am a gentle guy. He affirmed with a serious face.

He entered the school through the school gate and walked to the classroom through the gate man's help as Zoe departed.

The school have different sections of classroom which are the classroom for the rich students and the classroom for the middle class students. Ethan's parent couldn't afford the school fee for the rich students so they fell on the school fee for the middle class students.

The classrooms for the rich students have good quality and well learned teachers, good equipment like air conditioners and good quality chairs and tables rather than that of the other classrooms for the middle class students. They have good quality and well trained teachers but the equipment couldn't compare with the classrooms for the rich students.

Ethan entered his classroom and saw different faces, gisting with each other. He was about to join them but he recollected with his mom's statement. He checked the paper that the gate man gave him and saw his seat number. He went straight to his seat and sat down on the chair. He placed his head on the table and slept off.

Can you see this handsome guy? One of the girls said with a romantic face. Where is he? The other girl asked with a curious face. He is sleeping over there, she replied and pointed to his direction. Do you like him? Another girl questioned, waiting for her answer. Yes, I like him and I want to stay by his side. She replied boldly.

If you like him, you can go and inform him about your feelings before another girl snatched him from you. Oh my gosh, I love it. Love at first sight. Another girl shouted but because of the noise students couldn't hear her statement.

Don't take it for joke, I am serious and I will do anything to take his love. The girl replied with a smiling face.
