Chapter 13: His wrong doings

Olivia POV

How annoyed I was to see my gift partner talking to another girl. My name is Olivia. I am a classmate and friend to Ethan. I started in growing feelings for Ethan in our first class until a girl named Emily suddenly came to our class and the teacher invited her as a new student. Since then, Ethan has been avoiding me and developed another relationship with that poor, filthy girl. I came from a rich family and my father was the chairman of the department his father worked in. I think that was when our friendship started.

In my former school, my friend had the same voice as Emily but, the most confusing and frustrating thing was that Emily is more beautiful and attractive than the girl. I wanted to meet them. That was when a girl came to my side.

"Good morning, Olivia." She said with a smile.

"Same here." I answered, trying to hide my emotion.

"How was your night?" She asked.

I was surprised by those questions because we hadn't talked to each other before. We used to ignore each other.

"It was gorgeous." I answered with a grin.

I have been noticing something between Ethan and Emily. I knew that it was good to give a gift, smile and do some common things together, but their relationship got closer every day. She explained.

Some people also knew about their relationship. I guessed.

I also noticed it but I am not sure yet until I begin my investigation. I replied and checked Ethan but I did not see him anymore.

I left her and began to ask for him until one of my juniors told me his location. I traced him and later found him with Emily. They did not notice my arrival. I used that opportunity to hide somewhere. That was when I heard Emily's confession....

"Emily, we need to go to the classroom before the learning period," Ethan said, and they went to the classroom.

Olivia sat down on the ground and tears started dropping from her eyeball. What does he want? Even though Emily is more beautiful than me, I am still brilliant and clever. I suffer from my dad every time I show him my results. Is it bad to have parents? She said sadly.

She moved to her class and noticed that the teacher was there.

"Where are you coming from?" The teacher inquired at a very loud time, almost shouting. I was in the rest room. She lied without biting an eye, but the teacher had already been aware of that. "That's not the best of excuse, Olivia." But Olivia didn't utter another word and just stood there silently.

*Sigh*

Just go to your seat and let's continue our lectures.

Thanks Mrs Lillian. She thanked him and immediately dashed to her seat.

"What happened to Olivia?" Ethan wondered. He began to look at her every second until they had eye contact, but instead of Olivia smiling at him, she hissed and faced her book.

Ethan was shocked and became curious. "Something terrible is happening somewhere" he said, and took out his phone from his bag and noticed a message which had been sent by Emily some minutes ago. He checked the message and saw "which place are we heading to after the school period."

He looked at her face and smiled. He returned to his phone and typed "I don't know yet, maybe you can decide."

The bell for breakfast was rung, which made Ethan drop his phone and move to the refectory with other students.

Ethan became confused when he noticed that Emily and Olivia were far from each other. "Shall I sit with Emily or Emily?" He asked himself and began to look at them. Emily may get annoyed when I sit with Olivia and if I sit with Emily, Olivia won't be annoyed, but the class would be talking badly about me and I wouldn't accept such a thing to happen.

He moved to another table after sitting on his feet for a few minutes. He later got furious when he saw Ivan sitting beside Emily.

"What is he doing with my girlfriend?" He questioned himself silently.

He felt like hitting his handsome face, but causing trouble inside the refectory might attract serious punishment from the school management. Emily has developed a spirit of friendship with Ivan since they introduced themselves in the hostel.

The attempts Ethan made to control his anger continued to weaken him gradually. He became comfortable when he saw Hannah beside him. He missed a heartbeat and became nervous but pretending to be a man. He tried to mutter some courage.

"Hey, how are you doing over there?" He managed to say.

"I am cool." She answered with a tiny voice which made Ethan lose his conscience, but he later regained it back. Even though she was huge and had good body parts both front and back, which attracted Ethan's attention, her voice made everybody know that she was a girl from a young age.

"How will I fall in love with someone when I have a girlfriend". He thought. Hannah later broke the silence when she noticed that it was getting too long. "I hope everything is alright, you have been staring at me for some minutes." She said.

Oh I am sorry. A thought came to my mind which led to my action. He explained with great confidence.

"Can I know your name?" He continued.

"I am Hannah by name. What about you?" She replied.

"I am Ethan by name, nice to meet you" he answered and they exchanged hands, shaking together.

I don't like to be disturbed during my meal. I am sorry for that statement if it sounds rude in your ears. We can discuss after the school period. She confessed.

Okay then, I will see your beautiful face during that time again. He said, which brought a smile on her face.

You told me that you found someone who you would spend your life with but you haven't mentioned his name. Ivan said when they were moving to the classroom.

Oh my gosh, I almost forgot. I expressed my feelings through my words and actions, but he ignored them without caring for my broken heart. She lied with an innocent face. She felt bad and discouraged, but she didn't have any choice than to take that step.

Every time she began to wonder the main reason why Ethan wanted a secret relationship, nothing came to her mind except from her picture which appeared in her eyes.

"I would like to apologise on behalf of the person."

"Don't worry about it, I am excited that I confessed to my first love."

Ivan was full of joy when he heard her rejection, even if he tried to pretend to be a sorrowful and worried person, but inside him were opposite emotions.

They entered the class together and sat on different chairs while some lecturers came to their class in order to teach them some subjects until they had leisure.

Ethan used that opportunity to discuss with Olivia and advise her about anything that vexed her. He walked to her seat with a chair and placed it beside her. He sat on the chair and faced her without thinking of Emily's emotions.

*Emily, you have been acting strangely since this morning. I hope everything is alright or did I offend you? He said, but he didn't receive any answer until he heard

"Get out of my sight"
