Chapter 5: Introduction

*** In the mortal realm ***

"I have an announcement to make" A male student said comfortably which attracted the students' attention. Everybody may be wondering about this announcement but it is simple and clear. I knew that the introduction we made with the teachers wasn't clear enough. We only mentioned our department which didn't suppose to happen between us.

I have lounged some rooms for this precious night, I don't think we are going home today. After this school period, we are going to the hotel. If you agree with this announcement, raise up your hands. The male student replied happily. All students raised up their hands except from Ethan, who was thinking about his troublesome parent but he can't be the only one left behind. He raised up his hand slowly and feebly.

I think everybody is okay with that announcement let us rule the world this night. The male student affirmed. The students broke into a big, rapturious applause for bringing a nice, agile idea. They left the class when the school period was over and they engaged in different activities. These activities deal with talents and sports.

Student can learn more about their talents during this period and it helps the students to have their hand works and also helps the school because they sell the projects they made to the investors who replaced it with huge amount of money. They finished these activities at 5:30 pm and went to their various homes.

The new students entered the hotel through the cards the male student gave them. They spread mats on the floor and sat on the mat. They formed a round shape so that the announcer can announce at the centre.

A student stood up and hold a sheet of paper. We will be having a brief celebration tonight. We will start from the introduction and the next event will be at the bar or this large room depending on your choice and you are allowed to drink any wine both alcoholic and non alcoholic. You can rest for some minutes and we will create groups, the head of the groups will dance this night. After that, everybody is allowed to sleep in their different rooms. Let us start from the introduction. The student explained.

A male student stood up and said my name is Carlos, I love reading books and gisting. Oh my gosh, look at this awesome guy. A girl said quietly. You can get him, if you want. Her friend responded.

Are you having a girlfriend? The girl talked loudly. Which ridiculous question is that? The guy parried quietly. This may be embarrassing but I have never got a girlfriend before. He justified with an innocent face.

I can't believe that statement, this means he didn't like girls. The girl complained.

A female student stood up and said my name is Victoria, I love playing video games and gisting. Are you having a boyfriend? A male student asked. Absolutely no, I am not having a boyfriend. You are beautiful and boys didn't approach you. The guys around you are blind. The male student replied, nodding his head.

Someone is attractive more than me in this room. Her name is Emily. She replied and pointed to the girl. She stood up shyly and went to the centre. My name is Emily like she said. I love gisting with friends, reading books and watching movies. I am a shy type and I wish to move on with you guys. She said and bowed down. They gave her a round of applause except from Ethan who was busy looking at her. Did you have a boyfriend! The male student solicited. I didn't have a boyfriend but there is a...... I am sorry about that but I can't finish this statement. She validated sadly.

Okay, we understand you. You will see a suitable boy in this school. The male student encouraged her. The last student stood up and said my name is Ethan, I love drinking and reading. I don't have a girlfriend because I am not interested in girls. Ethan explained non-chalantly.

Ivan stood up and said everybody should choose their team mates and create a group. One student will represent a group in this drinking competition. I want it to be quick and smart. The students became busy, choosing students and a person to represent them in the drinking competition. Ethan and Emily were in different groups.

Ethan was part of the representatives. The big cups contains alcoholic drink. I hope everybody is ready for this competition. The sound of bell represent the beginning of the competition. Ivan explained in detail.

The representatives were frustrated with the sound of the bell even though they are eager to drink the alcoholic wine. The sound of the bell rang suddenly and louder. Ethan waited for others to drink the quarter of the big cup and he started drinking his own big cup. He finished the alcoholic wine before them and they declared him as the winner of the drinking competition.

You guys can rest for some minutes before you start the drinking competition. Ivan replied with a smiling face. Ethan was hailed by his group, they felt happy and excited for him, they were a little bit sad because nobody can dance in their group. This also happened in other groups except from Emily who was chosen as the dancer in the dancing competition but she was afraid and scared. She don't want to make any mistake that will discourage her or cause injury in her heart or her friend's heart.

She left the place and stayed in a peaceful and quiet place. She picked her phone from her pocket and dailed a number. It rang for some seconds until she picked the call.

Mom, is that you? She asked eagerly. Yes, my lovely daughter. What happens to you? She asked with a curious face. They chosed me as the leader of my group and they were expecting me to dance in this competition. I don't want to engage in competition again. Emily replied sadly.

I am sure that you will win this competition and you don't need to think about the past because the present will make you feel better and lovely. I am depending on you my daughter. She encouraged her with a cool voice. She suddenly burst into tears, I will try all my best, mom. She responded with a deplorable face.

Don't cry anymore, this will be your happiest moment in your life and this is just the beginning, you just need to forget the past memories and don't let it to affect you in your present. She persuaded her with her caring words.

Okay Mom, I won't cry anymore. Good night, have a restful sleep. She responded. Same to you dear. She replied emotionally.

Emily cut the call line and sat down on the floor, she didn't care about the dangerous thing. She began to think about her mom's caring and encouraging words.
