Evan Silvery blue eyes rove hungrily over my face. “My baby boy.” She whispers tearfully. Their heartbeats are like Asha’s. Low and drawn out. Meaning they aren’t here for long. I move quickly into her embrace almost expecting to walk through her like an apparition. But she is like a real person. Warmth floods through every cell in my body. I was too young when she died to remember her. Or this. A mother’s hug. All the love a mom can give through touch.
