The best Dad ever

Dad looked as if he could literally kill someone. I had to calm him down.

"Dad, firstly I am not a little girl anymore. Secondly I can take care of myself pretty good. At the bar someone tried to kiss me and I almost broke his arm.And lastly I appreciate you caring like that. It means you care about me , but like I said I'm grown up now Dad.You don't have to worry all the time. You raised me well and trained me perfectly. I love you Dad."

He was almost in tears. I giggled a little.

" Oh my baby is all grown up. So beautiful. And I did train you well. It's just that I love you so much that it scares me to think that you are not my little baby anymore. I still imagine you in my arms, rocking you to sleep. Watching you sleep open mouth and the drool coming out of your mouth. I still see my little girl. But I also see the strong girl infront of me right now. All grown up.I guess that I'm so used to you depending on me and someday you will depend on you're husband like that one day. That is If you ever get a husband cause my baby will never marry if you know what I mean. " Dad said. I hugged him and said," I will always be your little girl Dad , always. And you wil always be my old man." We all laughed. Mom joined our hug too.We just enjoyed the moment.
