It never crossed my mind that she would kiss me in public after our discussion earlier. Diana didn't want people finding out we are mates because she was next in line to be alpha and it just created problems. I understood the pressure she was in right now, to exceed everyone’s expectation and take what was meant for her. It was in her blood to lead, to help others. Nonetheless, I didn't reject the offer to kiss those soft lips of my hers that caused my inner wolf to scratch at my walls of control, yet again.
