Lexi's POV:
I've been running for years, since I was a teenager. I woke up to the man I loved one morning and found him dead, his life sucked out of him. My mother warned me not to let it happen again, and told me to run so I did I ran until finally five years later I started to gain control of my power. I will harness it eventually but for now I only use my power against evil men and women, who pounce on the innocent and use them for their advantage. How do I plan on doing this? I will settle in L.A. and start running a night club. Where I can watch for evil doers and right the wrongs. If you haven't guessed it already I "relive" others of their s****l hormones and suck them dry. I'm a succubus who's afraid of falling in love, afraid of reliving my past all over again. But to really understand we have to go backwards to the beginning.
"5 years ago:Age 17 London:"
I wake up to sunshine in my eye's. I remember absolutely nothing from last night all I know is I'm in the back of a car. The seats laid back with blankets and pillows, my clothes tossed to the side. Then it hit me, Jake and I oh my god we had s*x! Mom's going to kill me, I turned around to wake up Jake. But he wouldn't budge, his face was pale and his skin felt like ice. The brown eye's I fell in love with didn't have a sparkle to them, were glazed over. I screamed and screamed till I lost it, tears ran down my face. The boy I had once loved was gone, his soul sucked out his body was just a empty shell. I panicked and grabbed my clothes, and left him there not bothering to call anyone. I ran all the way home.
"Mother's POV:"
I'm worried sick,pacing the floors awaiting my daughter's return. Wishing she was okay, when suddenly the door flew open. She was gasping for air as if she'd ran the whole way home. Her face was stained with tears, and puffy. I rushed to her and held her till she calmed down. She sobbed for a few more moments before she spoke. "Mom something terrible has happened and I don't know how it happened." She explained everything to me and it was as I had feared, her powers had finally come. All I could do was tell her who her father really was, an incubus I told her how we met and fell in love. As we talked I told her why ahe should do her best she could do to learn how to control it as her father did. As she packed her bags I called in a few favors and got her a passport, a new ID, and a new birth certificate. I also got the money out of the safe, it was just enough for her to get to the US and start a new life. The money was something her father insisted we have just for such occasion, we both knew this day would come. I just wish her father was here to aid her in her journeys. We hugged for what seemed like hours, then we said our goodbyes.
"5 years later: Age 22 L.A."
Five years later and I still haven't been able to gain full control I still screw up and forget who I am. For everyone who dies at my hands, was a new state, a new life, a new ID, and a new birth certificate. Now I'm here in L.A. I just hope it sticks this time, it's only been a few days since my move and I'm already hungry, but not for food. I'm hungry for someone's s****l desire, and I'm tired of sitting at home avoiding disaster. I found stories, and articles on the internet about a man who makes deals with people and can grant everything you ever wanted, they never say his name or give an address just instructions for a summons. Which I'm assuming is like the devil, I know it sounds nuts but if I can exist why can't he? One animal sacrifice and 30 minutes later I sat waiting but nothing. I should have known, I mean who puts crap like that on the internet anyways? Oh well worth a shot not like I was expecting anything out of it. I cleaned up and went to go bathe. I changed out of my dirty clothes and put my silk robe on. I got this apartment for tub its an old style copper claw foot tub, the really deep one's that cover every inch of your body in water. as my hot bubble bath was running I wiped off my make up and put my hair in a bun,then removed my robe and stepped into the hot water and relaxed.
