The first thing I am aware of is pain. I almost find comfort in the familiar feeling, like an old friend letting me know that I am still alive.
I close my eyes and try to remember the last few days; my head is killing me...... I remember arriving back at the order......being called into a meeting with the council..... my d**k of a father......blood and pain.
No that's not right.
With a grown of pain, I try to sit up, but there is a dead weight on top of me, I grown as I push the body of Raven off me and slowly push myself up to a sitting position.
I focus on the pain and try to assess the damage, I remember being shot twice, my healing has kicked in, but if the bullets are still in there, it will slow it down.
