Living together

Niccolo was waiting for me outside the building when I arrived. When we got inside, it was more than just a pub. It's packed with recessive omegas and some middle aged alphas.

I gasped when pheromones starts entering inside my nose.

Sh*t where can I find you Karina.

There are a lot of rooms in the hallway.

"Your Highness, please use this. This is a worst place for you to be in, full of unpleasant pheromones since there are a lot of omegas around." Niccolo said while handing me the mask. I immediately took it from his hand then wears it. Unlike beta, their senses are not really that strong compare to us. They can't distinguish whether the pheromones is unpleasant or not, lucky for them actually.

A lady suddenly came to greet us. "Excuse me, welcome beta and.. a majestic Alpha. How can I help you?" She asked.

"Well, there's a woman who just came in here tonight as a server. Her name is Karina, can you call her out for a moment? We want to talk to her." Niccolo replied.

"Oh, are you guys her regulars? I'm sorry but.. I can't call her out for the meantime. You see.. she's currently serving some customers." She explained.

Unconsciously my pheromones surface on its own after hearing what she said, causing tremors to the people that surrounds us.

"Alpha.. you! Bring her out this instance!" I heard Niccolo threatened the lady. Even a beta can sense my dominant pheromones.

"T-That will be hard sir. I'm only working here, if you want I'll get you two other beautiful omegas..." I didn't let her continue and barge in the hallway of rooms while dragging her arms.

"Bring me to her room this instance." I said looking at her in the deepest corner of my eyes. I'm about to lose my control, my beast in breathing fire inside.

"Y-Yes, t-this way sire!" She replied and quickly brought me to the last room then opened the door.

My eyes widened in dread as my fists hardened some claws at the anger I'm feeling inside. She's lying down to the couch with an alpha above her and another omega who's holding her hands above her head. Her skirt was all the way up to her stomach, she almost half naked.

"What the f*ck! What are y'all doing in our room." The alpha shouted while fixing his pants.

"I-I'm sorry sir. I'll give you another omega to serve. Ms. Karina, someone is looking for you."

My feet instantly went inside, when I saw her crying after she stood back on her toes. I immediately took my coat off, wrapping it around her body.

"What the hell are you doing young man. That omega is ser..."

"Shut the f*ck up old man." I said while looking down at him, shutting them down with my pheromones.

I carried Karina on my arms and took her out of the room. Her body was trembling while she wrapped her arms around my neck, pressing her face on my skin. I tightened my grip around her shoulders and legs to let her feel more secured as we walked out from the building.

When we got to my car, I asked Niccolo to open my car's door and incline the seat a little. I closed the door after I seated on the driver's seat with Karina sitting on my lap with her arms still wrapped around my neck. Her body is still shivering while hugging me. I raised my hand, gently stroking her head.

"I'm sorry, I came late." She just shook her head as an answer.

I held her chin, bringing her face on my gaze. "Were you hurt by them?" I asked.

She just went blushed and looked down.

"Yes if you didn't came. But how did you know that I was there." She mumbled. Her voice is cracking, she's obviously traumatized at what happened.

"A friend of mine saw you getting in that place, so I let Niccolo to check on you. But why are you in that place anyway?" She clasped her hands on her face and started crying.

"T-They said that I'll only be serving their orders and do what they will ask. But I didn't know that it was that kind of things that they want to ask." She whimpered loudly that I no choice but to hug her back. Seriously, she's always putting herself in danger. I want to scream and scold her so bad, but I can't. She's too sensitive right now.

"Alright alright, stop crying now." I paused and inspired deeply before talking back. "Karina I'll give a job after your shift at the coffee shop. With this, you don't have to keep on searching another job and you'll be in much safer place. Also, I'll double the hourly rate you usually get from the on-call jobs. How's that sounds to you?" I said while lifting her chin to face me.

"Really? But what kind of job?" She baffled. How should I explain this since I don't have a proper description to this job. I just want to her to stay close to me, that's my only intention.

"You see, I live in a condo and I'm usually not at home the whole day. I want you to clean my place daily in the afternoon and cook dinner for me." She just looked at me with unexplainable expression after what I said.

"That's it?" She asked.

"Yeah, and that includes the weekend. And since I don't want you to go home late at night after cooking me a dinner, I want you to live in my house. That's my deal, live in my house, work in my house and your hourly rate is double." I implied..

Please accept it..

"Mmm if I'll accept it, when do I'll start my work?" I felt a triumph of butterflies starts floating in my stomach at what she said.

"Now, I haven't eaten my dinner yet. Cook something for me." I was grinning inside when she just nodded and moved to the passenger's seat.

I drove her in my place with Niccolo following us behind with his car. Karina was silent the whole time, she's probably thinking at what happened earlier.

Thank god that we came early before it was too late. I couldn't imagine the pain and distressed that Karina would experience if something happened to her. The thought of it makes me want to kill those dirty d*ckheads.

When we arrived at home, Karina couldn't hide the awe in her eyes while looking at my grand lounge in the center room, with a full transparent glass windows facing the city's scenery.

Niccolo suddenly came inside while holding his laptop on his hand.

"Karina.. I want to ask some questions from you so I can report that site who scammed you without telling the full job's description." He implied.

"Niccolo you can ask that next..."

"And you too Alpha, what you did back then was so dangerous. What if someone recognizes you? That could've damage your reputation and worst pay a settlement fee for dragging a personnel forcefully." I just frown at what he said. I maybe his Prince, but sometimes I can't talk back to this Beta since his arguments is always on point.

"I actually did nothing, I was even on my grip when that alpha was trying to make me feel enrage." I said proudly.

He turned my back on me and went to Karina. "Why is she here Alpha? Isn't it enough that we saved her? She's causing you too much trouble." He paused. "And Karina, why do kept on accepting those kind of nut jobs? Do you even know what you're doing? You keep on putting yourself in danger. Do you really love making yourself be cheated easily like that?"

"Those guys who tricked me were the ones at fault! Why are you blaming me when I only want a job to live! You're being too much!" She shouted.

"That's enough for tonight Niccolo. What's done is done, besides she'll start living here tonight in the next room." I explained.

Niccolo's expression quickly change and look at me in disbelief. "What? Why would you do that Alpha?"

"Hey, I thought you said I'll start living here tomorrow. So why now? Are you planning to do what you did last time?" Karina said with her eyes narrowed..

"Don't flatter yourself Karina, what happened last time was just an accident. It just so happened that I was next to you when your first heat cycle happened so I offered some kindness. Of course I'm not going to involve myself again with you." I lied.

I won't involve myself again with you, unless if it's your desire to want me to.

"What the heck, can you stop calling that a kindness! Where's the kitchen so I can start my work here!" She said, stamping her feet going to the kitchen.

Niccolo suddenly went beside me. "Your Highness! This is a bad idea, I can't let a recessive and low-born omega like her to live in your house."

"I felt that I am partly responsible since she didn't receive the pay that night since I took her in my room." I explained.

"And when did you start caring about those things your Highness?" Seriously, this beta is so passionate to his job that he's starting to annoyed me.

"What are you getting so worked up Niccolo? Are you worried that something might happen again between that omega and me?" I asked crossing my arms at him.

"Of course! She's an unrefined omega, you're out of her league your Highness."

"Niccolo, you go and rest now. And can you stop calling me your Highness when she's around? She might hear you."

"Don't make me laugh your Highness. There's no way I'm allowing this. I'm sleeping here tonight!" He persisted.
