"Yeah." Noy stooped her head low. "She was a very beautiful woman. I guess we were just jealous because we imagined your uncle as a handsome man."
"We're sorry if we stepped on some boundaries."
"It really is fine, guys." I reassured them, raising my hands to calm them down. "Sorry for overreacting."
We smiled and giggled about something else. Everything seemed to have gone back to normal.
"By the way, what's the deal with that guy?" Maia pointed at Tyler, who quickly averted his gaze as our eyes met. “Why did he suddenly decide to come to school?"
