I rushed to the bed and made Allegra return to the couch where she had been sitting before I told her to check Nadia.
By now, my mind was mixed up. I didn't know what to take in and what not to take.
Everything Allegra had told me didn't make sense to me but I knew she was right even though I found it had to accept the truth.
I also sensed that Nadia was not a normal wolf when I tried to read her thoughts and find out about her the first day she appeared in my pack. All that was futile because I couldn't read through her.
