All This Time

Chapter 3

I finished signing every documents Joyce gave me this morning. I relaxed myself and closed my eyes humming to the soft music from my mac book. The song reminds me of someone. I smiled to myself. Beautiful memories brought back smile to my face.

"Daydreaming huh?" I heard someone said. I opened my eyes and saw Gabriela standing there looking so pretty in her beige dress. I smiled and told her to come in and sit. She went inside and sat in front of me.

"Hello girl in a dreamland. What are you thinking smiling like that Sof?" She said raising her brow. I laughed lightly and stood up going to her direction and give her a kiss on her cheek. "Hello there Gabby. What brings you here. I've been waiting for your call. It's been three weeks." I said and sit back on my chair.

"Hmmm got busy and everything you know. My contract with Vogue ended and I don't want to renew. So here I am now. Doing nothing so we could catch up!" She said excitedly.

"Really. If you want, you can work here. We are open for models right now." I offered politely.

"Really? Oh my god. I would love to! Thank you Sof!" She said excitedly. "No worries." I said and smiled at her. I want to ask about Noah but refrained myself.

"Are you busy right now?" She asked. I shook my head with a boring expression. "Nah, got finished so early and decided to go home. But since you are here, let's have some coffee somewhere. My treat." I said and gathered all my things. Lucky me I didn't wear formal today because I really have no plan to go. I'm just here to sign some important documents then go home.

"Yay! Let's go then. My boyfriend couldn't make it. I've got a message from him that he couldn't join. Emergency meeting blah blah blah." She said rolling her eyes. I sighed in relief. So, Noah won’t join us.

We went to a nearby coffee shop. When we entered people looked at us admiringly. Some of the guys whistles. We ignored them and sit beside the window. We ordered our coffee and cakes.

In the middle of our talk, Noah arrived wearing his signature suit. "Good afternoon ladies. Sorry I'm late." He said and sat beside Gabriela and gave her a kiss on the cheek. I bowed my head and pretending I'm looking for something inside my bag. When I glanced up, with a hurt expression, Noah was staring at me and frowned. I nodded at him then we continue to talk about a lot of things. Why is he here? I thought he wouldn’t come?

Gabriela invited me to dinner on her mom's house next weekend. I don't have a choice but to say yes. Even though it hurts to see them so sweet in front of me. Why am I so hurt and jealous? I excused myself to go to the restroom.

When I'm inside, I inhaled and exhaled loudly. Why does it hurt so much to see them together? Why do I feel this way? I felt my eyes became watery. I bowed my head and closed my eyes tightly.

"Are you okay baby girl?" I heard Noah's voice. I immediately glanced up and frowned. "What are you doing here?"

"I saw your sad face and I couldn’t help but to worry. Are you okay?" He said and walked closer to me. He caresses my face with the back of his hand. I closed my eyes and feel this moment. "I'm okay Noah. Thank you for checking on me." I said gently.

He hugged me tight and kissed my forehead. We stared at each other with longing. I couldn't help it anymore. I caress his face lovingly with both of my hands. A painful sob escaped my mouth from all those years I've been through without him. He stared at me for seems like forever. He leaned down slowly and kissed me passionately. I kissed him back with the same intensity. We kissed like there is no tomorrow. We parted to get some air and kissed again. We make out for a long time. Savoring each other. When we parted again, forehead to forehead, I keep my eyes closed and savoring this moment.

I pushed him gently, but he never let me go. "We have to stop Noah. Gabriela might follow me here." I said with a sad face. This is so wrong knowing his girlfriend is waiting for us outside. What am I to him? The other woman? Why did he do this to me, showing me, he missed me. He stared at me debating to go or not. He kissed me soundly on the lips the went out of the restroom without looking back.

I sighed in relief and fixed myself. I was about to head out when Gabriela entered. "Oh my God Sof! I thought someone kidn*pped you! What took you so long?" She said in relief.

"Sorry, I got a mild headache, but I'm okay now." I answered and give her a warm smile. "Oh, let's go. Noah already left since he has to attend some emergency matter." I nodded then we went outside of the restaurant.

We parted and promised to keep in touch. She decided to start working with my models next week. I asked my driver to bring me back to the office since I have nothing to do at home.

Arriving in the office, I didn't expect Noah to be there waiting for me inside my office. I pretend to be not surprised and walked inside putting my bag on my desk. I went to my mini fridge and get a bottle of water. I almost finished the whole bottle. I turned and looked at Noah who sat on my office chair. "What do you want Noah?" I asked.

"I want you." He answered immediately while walking to where I stand looking straight to my eyes. I shivered, and I felt nervous again. He is now very close to me. I can feel his breath on my side lips. I gasped when he pulled me inside his arms rubbing my back gently. I hugged him back reluctantly. This is so wrong, but it feels so right. I swallowed my pride and give him a very tight hug. I closed my eyes inhaling his scent. He stared at me for a while. I couldn't help it anymore. I kissed him, and he kissed me back with too much passion. We enjoyed each other lips and tongue. We didn't part until we couldn't breathe anymore. He led me on the couch and sit, put me on his lap, lip-locked. We made out for half an hour not minding where we are.

"Have dinner with me tonight baby girl?" He asked giving me butterfly kisses. I find myself saying yes. We sealed it with a passionate kiss.

I asked him to stay on the couch and wait for me while I gave Joyce an instruction. Joyce gave me a knowing smile looking at my lips. I ignored her and held Noah's hand and went out of the office.

My staff looked at us with a knowing smile. Some of them murmuring. He led me to his black BMW and help me to sit and strapped my seatbelt. He gave me a kiss on the cheeks then rounded on the driver side. He drives holding the steering wheel on his left hand and holding my hand on his right hand. Typical Noah. I smiled to myself. We arrived at a tall magnificent building. I thought we're going to have dinner? I frowned and looked at him with a questioning eye. He kissed my hand and asked. "I want to make this dinner special. I want to cook for you. Is that okay baby girl?" Oh, my heart melt and I find myself nodding eagerly. He smiled and went out of the car to help me. We clung to each other when we walked inside the building.

People stared at us admiringly. An old lady gushed and told us we looked like a great couple. I blushed, and Noah hold me tightly to him smiling proudly. The staff also greeted us warmly. Girls were flirting with him. I rolled my eyes.

We entered the elevator. When the door closed, Noah put the pin to his penthouse. Suddenly Noah pressed me on the silver wall then kissed me fully on the lips. I kissed him back and clung to him like a monkey. We couldn't resist each other. We were like this before. I don't care if this is wrong. For me this is so right. Even just for a day. I'm sorry Gabriela. I thought. The elevator stopped and we both parted but still clung to each other until Noah opened the door for me.

His house is very bachelors like. It has a black and white theme. He led me towards his living room and help me to sit on the couch. He gave me a peck on the lips and headed to the kitchen to get me something to drink. He came back with a white wine and a beer for him.

"Stay here and watch if you like. Just relax and I'll cook our dinner okay?" He said giving me a kiss. He was about to go when I held his hand and asked him if he need my help. He shook his head then turn to go but I didn't release his hand.

"Can I stay in the kitchen and watch?" I asked pouting. He laughed and kissed me fully on the lips. I kissed him back and he led me to the kitchen. There’s an old lady in the kitchen putting things in the cupboard. She looked at us with a warm smile.

"Nana, this is Sofia, my girlfriend. Sofia, this is Nana. She oversees the house." He introduced us. I slapped his shoulder and glared at him.

"Noah! I am not your girlfriend. Gabriela is. What will Gabriela say if she heard you?!" I said angrily. Reminding myself that I am the other woman only. "Hello Nana, nice to meet you." I said smiling at her while shaking her hand.

"What did she say Noah? Gabriela is your girlfriend? As in Gabriela the model?" Nana asked confused and I nodded to answer her question. She was about to say something when Noah beat her..

"Nana, I'll cook our dinner tonight. You can rest for the night." Noah said, and Nana nodded still confused. "Nice to meet you Sofia. Enjoy your dinner." Nana said and went out of the kitchen. Noah led me to sit in a high stool. He kissed me before starting to cook.

I watched him in the kitchen skillfully. Margaret surely thought him in the kitchen. He looks so hot gracefully moved in the kitchen. He was stirring the sauce when I approached him and hugged him from behind so tightly. I closed my eyes and feel his body into mine. I missed you too Noah. He turned and hugged me with the same tightness. We kissed deeply and we both prepare the table and eat heartily.

After dinner we're sipping our champagne outside his balcony overlooking the city of New York. The sky is full of stars and it's very calm. I put my wine glass on the side table and went to the railing looking down the busy street. The lights illuminate the whole city. It's very beautiful.

I felt Noah's arms encircled into me tightly. I leaned into him and closed my eyes. I put my hands over his. We stayed like this for eternity. I missed this between us. The feeling of being safe and content in his arms. This made me calm and forget everything and all that matters are just us.

He turned me to him and I couldn't help it anymore. My tears fell and told him everything I felt.

"What is this Noah? What is this thing between us huh?" My throat is aching and continue. "I've waited for you all my life. I've waited everyday hoping somehow, you'll appear in front of me and fulfill all your promises to me. But I've waited for nothing. Every day I think of you. I tried very hard to forget you, but I couldn't. It hurts me so much seeing you with different girls. I followed you thru internet and television and made myself being hurt all over again. What have I done wrong? And now it's too late. You have a girlfriend now but here I am with you, pretending to think everything is alright." I told him between sobs. He wiped my tears and looked at me with a very hurt expression.

He was about to answer but I held my finger to his lips to silence him. "Please don't say anything that would hurt me." I kissed him deeply as if this is the last time. He was reluctant at first but kissed me back hungrily.

We made it to his bedroom without parting our lips. We are now both naked and lying in bed worshiping each other’s body. We made love for the whole night many times.

I woke up with an aching body but smiled for what we did last night. We made passionate love and cuddled before we sleep. We became one and I love everything about it. Even just for the whole night.

I glanced at the clock and it's six o'clock now in the morning. I gathered all my clothes and give Noah a kissed on the lips without waking him up. I went out of his penthouse building. I hailed a cab and give the driver my address.

Who am I kidding? I am THE OTHER WOMAN.

I felt my tears fell from my eyes. I wiped them off and breathe heavily. At least for the last time I felt loved and cherished again even if this is all about lust.
