Rafael was taken aback by the question, he was not in close contact with Fiona in a long time.
“How do you know Fiona’s scent?” he asked.
“Why is her scent all over you?” Celia replied, her voice low but sharp.
“Remember, she is one of my gang members. I went underground for a serious meeting,” he said, keeping his voice as low as possible,
“You went underground to bang her,” she snapped, her face twisting into something hurt and sad. She knew Rafael had gone to deal with Diego, but now it felt like he had purposely let her hear his conversation with Mason so that she wouldn't suspect that he went to see Fiona.
“Let’s go somewhere else to talk, maybe take a walk,” he offered gently.
“No, it’s fine,” she said, turning away before he could say more.
