Hannah's POV
"We can't have her as our leader. She'll be the end of us," I catch this whisper as I'm passing through one of the hallways in the castle. Since I arrived here, the members of my dad's coven have explicitly avoided me. I thought it had something to do with me being my father's daughter, but I didn't know it was because they hated me. I really have no reason to worry because I have no interest in being acquainted with them. Yet hearing this bothers me a little.
"She'll need to marry a wizard or witch anyway. Her fate is decided."
