Luca's POV
Confusion overwhelms me. The room spins, and my demon's presence looms evidently, angered by my decision to start treatment and suppress it. Krystal's words about trading my pack for her healing trouble me deeply, even though I lack details. I sense she's serious, punishing me for defying her by meeting Hannah's father without her. Her unexpected appearance and influence on Hannah's father only add to my bewilderment.
"What did you do, Krystal?" I demand, my heart pounding as I await an explanation.
"Haha, she's just kidding. I brought her here willingly. Your pack is safe," Hannah's father reassures, but I remain skeptical. Something led Krystal here.
