GRAY I stood there watching until Myra and the warriors disappeared into the woods. I couldn't catch my breath properly. Something felt off. "Gray? You okay?" Reid asked, looking at me with concern. I was still staring at the spot where they'd gone, even though they were long gone. I blinked, forcing myself to look away from the forest. "I'm fine." Reid fell into step beside me as we walked back toward the pack house. From the corner of my eye, I caught him throwing glances my way. I could practically feel the questions bubbling inside him.
