Saturday morning. 9am. The library. Elias is already there when I arrive, which surprises nobody. He has taken the larger table at the back — not the corner table we usually use but the long rectangular one in the middle of the back section that was made for four people, and he has laid things out across it with the structured precision of someone who prepared this presentation in the same way he prepares everything: by deciding the order in which information should arrive and arranging the physical space to support that order.
