“Wow… she is sooo beau… botiful… I’m her big sister?” Emma asked in her childlike voice, eyes wide with wonder.
I smiled, cupping her cheeks. “Yes, my love. You’re her big sister now.”
Emma made an ‘oh’ face, clearly processing this new reality. “What’s her name, Mama?”
I stroked her soft curls and said gently, “I named her after your mama, Emily. Her name is Aria Emily Robbins.”
Emma lit up. “It’s so sweet… so Emma will call her Aria.”
I chuckled softly. “You can call her anything you want, baby.”
