Be Happy When You're Not

Nothing is adding up

I heard something..... It's a gunshot i heard from downstairs but the weird thing is when i rushed to see what is happening no one is there. I opened the door and there's nothing, "is it just me or is there something wrong happening that i dont know?" i said to myself as i got back to bed and slept.. The next morning i asked my parents about what happened last night and the both said "oh, a delivery came last night because the delivery driver got lost and it's all good now" as they both said it i still wasn't buying it but i have to focus on getting a job so i borrowed my father's suit and im now ready to apply for a job... After a month of no success i was starting to get demotivated and as i was about to leave a building i received a voicemail saying "You have passed the first interview you may now proceed to the final interview, the adress and time will be sent to you via message". I was happy to finally having a chance at getting a job so i went and told this to my parents and they both congratulated me and i was happy until after a month my girlfriend decided to message me saying "Mark pls come to my house, i just need some space and time to tell to you something very important". I immediately went to her house and knocked on the door and she let me in her house and while i was about to ask her she said "Can we break up?" i asked her the reason and she said "I love you but my parents and i will go and emigrate to another country and live there for who knows how long, i was startled by this news and that's why i didn't contacted you for a month" I am petrified by what she said and a nervously asked her when is the date of their flight and she said "the flight is today, I'm very sorry for not telling you this a month ago and i know you're a great person but i don't think this could work out." before i could even get to speak she brought her baggage from her room and as she is getting out of the house i asked her "Can i see you at the airport aleast?" but she refused and took a taxi but i tried following her with my car but i ended up losing her and the weird thing is when i lost her she was going the opposite direction of where the nearest airport is and i tried to see if i could find the taxi but i just got back home thinking about where could she be heading to until 3 weeks later when i was visiting my friend james in his house for a gaming party with few of my other friends mike and kelly it was all fine until i saw something strange in mike's car.......
