“What did you say in my class?” The words are like a growl. His transformation from smug prick to tyrannical psychopath is so sudden that I don’t even know what to say. I try to deflect. “Someone threw a book–” “Here we are again, Reuben, with your appalling attitude! You have no conception of what I am trying to achieve with these boys and you’re doing everything in your power to disrupt this class! I am creating men!
