I was ath my fathera bedside crying my eyes out since he had fallen ill and haven't woken up yet doc could figure out what was wrong..

my fathers started to cough I looked at him his eyes were on me i was about to call for doc when father spoke..

"my dear Bridget I need to tell you something and you can't tell your brother or anyone unless needed. promise me.

he asked while reaching for my face wiping the tears away.

I nodded yes father..

we men are curse i look at him surely you jest father i said

I jest not... now that I've told you...you should see the shadow....

I look at father once more in a different light i now indeed see a black shadow over him ..

father what is that how can i get rid of it?

father cough once more

I only know what my father's father told him "only she whom the shadow cling with could possibly break this curse."

I continue to peer at this unknown woman my Twin has brought home. Silently hoping she is indeed the one that could be the salvation for me unknowing Twins fate.
