(Mylay's POV)
I lay by the lake with Aja for what felt like hours. "Okay, I will give your little lover boy a shot, but if I don't like him, I will take it upon myself to bite him in the ass!" stated Aja. I was happy she was finally warming up to the idea of Qaume'. "Deal! If you don't like him, you can bite him in the ass!" I responded. Aja and I burst into laughter, and my heart felt full being in her presence.
"Okay, dear child, it is time to head back," stated Selene as she glided towards Aja and me. I squeezed Aja tight as I buried my face into her fur. "Already?" I asked. "Yes, it is time. Remember to stay strong, and I am always with you, my chosen one," responded Selene gently. I nodded my head in understanding.
"Come to me," she stated softly as she held her hands out to me.
