(Mylay's POV)
My alarm clock went off, and I reached over to turn it off before stretching out and sitting up. "Open the curtain," I said to the potted plant sitting next to my small bedroom window. The plant's branch slowly moved to the window curtain and slid it to the side. I smiled at my achievement as I took in the beautiful sunrise. I finally got up to get a shower. I was excited to get the day started, so I could finish work and head out to the palace.
I quickly showered and washed my hair, then put it up in a small half-up half-down ponytail. Trying to figure out what to do with this hair has been a struggle, but I am finding little hairstyles here and there. I quickly dressed in khaki shorts and my red and brown 'Coffee Beans and Things' work shirt. After slipping on my sneaker
