Dionne Friday. The day I feared finally arrived. I sat in Marcus' car, my stomach doing backflips as we pulled out of the driveway. The engine hummed softly, but the tension inside me was overwhelming. I was about to confront the entire school that had mocked me that day, and it felt anything but easy. Marcus kept his eyes on the road, his face looking calm, but I knew better. Today was the day he was going to school with me, and I had no idea what was about to happen. "You alright?"
