Dionne We’d been walking for what felt like hours, trudging forward in the same silence as my mind raced with thoughts. My legs ached, and every now and then, I stumbled over a stray root or rock. The real frustration wasn’t my body though but my mind. I knew we were going in circles, which was exactly what I had prayed for, as it gave me enough time to escape yet I was bored of this.
