~Jasmine~ When he leaned down, I tried to wriggle out of his grasp, but he didn't budge. He was a mountain of muscle and heat, and I was just a girl trying to remember why I was supposed to hate him. His lips crashed against mine, not with the gentle tap of a question, but with the force of a command. I kept my mouth tightly shut, a silent protest against the way he was making my skin sing with desire, he nipped at my lower lip, a sharp spark of pain made me gasp, In that split second of surprise, he surged forward, his tongue swirling in to claim the space I’d tried to guard. The anger that had been fueling my walk to this penthouse started to flicker like a candle on a windy night. My hands, which had been balled into fists against his, slowly began to unfurl.
