The demon deity Claus emerged from his wife's room grinning mischievously.
He ran upon Seth, his half-brother, who appeared to be in danger suddenly.
"I recently learned that your lost wife has finally been located. Is that accurate? Claus turned to face Seth and gave him a death gaze, leaving him stunned.
"You're correct. The demon god answered Seth, "I have finally located the traitor, and I can't wait to celebrate her return with a glamorous celebration that will see everyone in attendance."
Given that he is somewhat taller than him, Tue demon god turned away from him since it is difficult to see him in the eyes.
"A celebration? Why are you honoring a traitor who has made a comeback when she ought to have passed away by now? She should burn in hell, as she rightfully deserves. Claus sighed to calm his already slowly flaming rage as Seth pointed out.
"This time, I'm going to repay her lover in the most surprising ways. She tried to kill me with her lover." Seth stood next to him, uncertainty plastered all over his face. "She only has one privilege, which is to enjoy it while it lasts and I will make it worth it," the demon god remarked, bitterness in his heart.
What if, in the process, your heart became fonder? Is it still worthwhile? After examining the handwriting on the wall, Seth said.
"What are you trying to say? I have no time to waste on a question this stupid. You are all aware that I am heartless. Not for a traitor like Laila," the demon god retorted, his eyes burning with fury, but not to the point that Seth was even slightly alarmed.
The demon god gave Seth the instruction, "I need you to get the soul-slashing arrow ready at the celebration tonight and get ready to attack once I signal," and departed without saying anything else.
As soon as Seth got Claus's order, he grinned. All he wanted to hear was that. He dislikes the thought of Laila being alive since it would advance his scheme further.
Claus departed and went to his powerful chamber to begin his own preparations.
Throwing in his fangs in anticipation of the unexpected quest that lay ahead.as he was unable to shake the image of Laila.
Thus far, he is pleased with what he has observed, but he does not want it to interfere with his goals.

I eventually put on the garments that had been delivered to me on the demon god's order—who happens to be my husband—after being treated like a princess.
"You appear quite lovely. similar to an angel. Right behind me, a female voice exclaimed, "You look amazing."
I sighed when I realized it was my maidservant, although my feet still trembled as I assumed it was the demon god.
"Obviously," I answered, seeming ecstatic.
The maidservant came over to me again and remarked, "You look so excited, probably happy to finally join your maker." I turned to face her, disregarding the mirror in front of me, as her words reverberated in my ears.
"Since the moment I opened my eyes, I have observed that you have been speaking to me incoherently. What are your desires? And precisely who are you? I inquired, looking serious, and I think the maidservant was a little taken aback.
"Maybe you don't like being the alpha, but you shouldn't cross the line because you are only a maidservant." Both the demon god and I are in love. If not, why did he give me such a pleasure in the first place? I stared at her, unsure of how to ask.
Since she is exactly my height, I don't find it too difficult to look her in the eyes.
She stared at me for a long time before murmuring, "You.
"I want to hear nothing at all. I turned back to the mirror and replied, "You should be glad for me, not the other way around.
She was standing behind me, staring at me blankly.
She was perplexed at my response. It was as if she had known me for long, and she was totally disappointed. I love the alpha, and the new life I have gotten.
My thoughts are empty, yet I'm content with my current existence and don't require any distractions. Every time I catch a glimpse of the demon god, his qualities captivate me to the point that I want to ignore the warning signs.
I was about to go in a little while when I heard footsteps at my doorstep. When I turned back, I was astounded to discover the demon deity standing next to me, appearing amiable and prepared for the festivities.
He took hold of my arm and matched me to the door before I could say anything. Having witnessed him in all his grandeur, I couldn't help but smile.
Once inside the celebration hall, we took a seat. I thought everything was going well until I heard someone shouting in the throng.
"Maya, it's me, Damon! Maya!" Amidst the cacophony of the throng that had gathered at the location, a voice screamed out.
My gaze strayed, trying to find the source of the voice that called to me nonstop, as though he wanted to get my attention.
At last, a tall, well-built young man drew my attention among the throng. He gestured toward me. His look was peculiar even though I knew who he was.
Instantly, my body went cold since everything around me seemed to be pointing to trouble.
"Alert!" With anger in his eyes, I could hear the devil stating something next to me.
When I saw the arrow heading straight at me and traveling at full speed toward the demon god's position, my mouth dropped open in utter shock.
My alternatives ran out, and my mind went numb.
"No!" I took the arrow that was intended for the demon god and he shouted, and held me closer to his body.
