Chapter Twenty-Eight
It’s been weeks since my encounter with Lyla, Axel’s biological mother. I did promise to help her but I couldn’t find the right moment to open it up to Axel. He’s too stubborn and if he knew that I had a conversation with his biological mother, he might oppose this strongly. The only thing that I could think of is to take him by surprise. I’m just not sure how he would react. He might get angry if he knew that this was all my plan.
Then there’s the problem with Azrael. Until now, we’re still not okay. I did try talking to him but he just ignores me. Well, it’s not like we were super close to begin with. But still those few months with him made me consider him as a friend. I don’t know what to do with him anymore. I just want the old Azrael back. If I could just
