The Voyage Begins Darstan peered through the crack in the curtains at the darkened street. He had not seen anyone pass since supper. "What do we need to take with us, Aenaila? How long will we be gone?" He had grown anxious being cooped up in Jago's house all this time. "Be patient, Darstan. We have a few days yet before we depart. And you will need nothing special, just your clothes and personal items." He paced and fidgeted. "This is worse than a voyage. I think I'll go with Wisp today." Wisp sat slouched against the wall, his knife scraping dirt from under his nails. "Aenaila's right, Darstan. I dare not say it, but I find myself aligned with her again." He slipped the knife back into the sheath at the top of his boot before he stood. "Besides, I told you about my visit with Mufed.
