Luca took a step back, completely blindsided by the reality that had suddenly hit him. “Dad?... But why? How?... This has to be a mistake.” Luca stammered as he fell back from shock.
“Asher! Let me go!” Kir shouted, drawing everyone’s attention back to her as she struggled in Asher’s grip, trying to escape without harming him in the process.
