Polly and Tuesday stood before the closet like a jury. Tuesday had been there when Declan called Polly, both of them nearly full of cupcakes, even though the mountain had only been reduced to roughly half the size. “I never thought there could be too many cupcakes," Tuesday had said, unbuckling her fancy leather pants. “Give it time, you'll get a second wind," Polly had said with a wink.
