Lorenzo's POV
Tapping my fingers on the desk in Turner's office, my gaze fixated on the balding, nervous cop in front of me.
"Is this the only reason why you asked me to come here today? Just to tell and show me this?"
I gestured to the files containing the photos of convicted s*x offenders.
"Um... yes," he replied.
"Why didn’t you just save us the hassle and tell us over the damn phone earlier? You just wasted our time, officer," Gio said in irritation.
"I thought you'd prefer a more personal meeting than talking over the phone."
"I'm a very busy man, Turner. I do not have the luxury of time. I've got a whole lot on my plate, and you pulled me away from everything I was doing, brought me here just to inform me that you failed to find a match from the test results."
