Chapter 41 Dash stared at the displays in disbelief for a few seconds. Jess had done it. He’d thrown them into jump space. “You’ve killed us,” Dash whispered. He felt strangely calm. After such a long time fighting to carve out somewhere safe, then keep it that way, certain death carried an almost hypnotic quality. There was nothing he could do, nothing he could say.
