Chapter 7 We looked around the area. There were obvious marks from paddleboards being dragged into the water, and some bare footprints to go along with them. But the prints looked like they were a day old. They had left the footprints deep in the sand by the shore, probably from the weight of somebody carrying a heavy paddleboard. But I had a hard time finding any fresh prints they had left today. I could see that Peter was having no better luck than I was. It didn’t take long before we were back together. "There's nothing unusual here, Mac. I'm not sure what we're supposed to find, but I don't see it." Before I could answer him, a couple of dragonflies reappeared as if telling me not to give up.
