"What is the news?" I asked, trying to check out the files that were scattered on my table. I haven't attended to the pack duties in many days.
"The pack has been ruined. Alpha Damian's Beta is dead." The guard answered.
I paused the scribbling pen in my hands. "Alpha Damian?"
He fell on his knees immediately and I knew that was a lost job. "We missed him as a target. He is still alive." He responded.
"Leave." I ordered and he rushed out of my room.
