As the spar continued, the intensity of the fight between Vladimyr and Rori grew. Each clash of their bloodlust movements sent small shockwaves rippling through the clearing, causing the leaves around them to shudder.
It was actually mesmerizing to watch; Rori’s fierce determination met Vladimyr’s calm, controlled power in a perfect, almost harmonious balance.
They swapped blow after blow. Fists and kicks to one another until…Finally, with a swift, calculated move, Vlad shifted his stance, sidestepping one of Rori’s punches and catching his arm in a lock. With a slight twist, he had Rori’s back against his chest, one arm pinned behind him. Rori grunted, twisting and struggling, but Vlad held firm.
I gasped and winced as if I am the one in that predicament. Sebastian chuckle
