Katie's POV
I opened my eyes when I felt Vlad's weight on me. The eerie silence cast upon us makes it seem like there's no one here. I can sense the cold breeze even though Vlad is still hovering on top of me. Because of this, I cannot turn my head around to see our surroundings. Where are we? Did we finally arrive in the north?
"Vlad?" I called him, but he didn't budge.
"Luci?" I tried to mind-link Lucifer, but no one answered either. I did my best to push him gently and carefully place him on the ground. This time, I managed to look around.
