Katie's POV
I immediately paced towards Victor and asked him where Victoria was. He was not himself, as he constantly mumbles that it was all his fault that Victoria was hurt. He was not even surprised when I mentally linked him; he must have unconsciously let me into his head to communicate with him. I nudged his shoulders and asked him again, this time with a little bit of a wake-up tone so that I could knock some sense into him. That was really effective, as he immediately told me that she's at their room since he carried her from the forest where she was attacked up to their room.
