I waited until she was fast asleep, she had been through so much more than any other new wolf on their first day. Between the vampires and their mysterious knowledge and her own family and that dysfunctionality that was now rampant she deserved to sleep. I watched her breathing slow as she felt her safety assured in my arms.
Devereaux tossed a look that was pure disgust toward me while I stroked her hair hoping it would further soothe her. “Would you care to explain your dynamic?”
