December 18th, a complete week after their little fight in the hospital and Elaine had still yet to speak to Elizabeth about what had happened. The older woman hadn't called or texted Elizabeth, nor had she heard from the girl or Jamie during the entire week and she was starting to wonder if Elizabeth or Jamie ever wanted to see her again, and she understood if that was the case. After all, she did kind of overreact to the situation by yelling at the one person that she had gotten close to in several years, but how could she not? Time after time, Elaine had asked Elizabeth where her parents were and the younger girl had stood there and lied to her face, so when Elaine found out the truth, it was understandable that she doubt what the other girl had been telling her the entire time, right?
