The rest of the day passed in a blur with me trying to sort out some documents without thinking about what had happened earlier this morning.
Grace and Jane came into my office as usual for our break. I think they understood, maybe that's why they didn't ask me about the incident earlier this morning.
Nick dropped me home as usual and we chatted a little till I headed upstairs for a quick shower. I went down and found Nick and Alex seated on the dining table.
