NICK AND MAGGIE ARRIVED home two days later courtesy of another very short helicopter ride. After meeting Nick’s Dad, Maggie thought it was possible that he had chartered the helicopter to make their return trip home much easier on his very cranky son. The snow had been cleared in their yard and the animals well cared for. A note on the kitchen counter from Carmen welcomed them home and listed the casseroles that were in the freezer courtesy of everyone in the community, including non- project members. Nick and Maggie were favourites in the community for her nursing skills, and Nick had helped quite a few people with legal matters.
