After a few weeks of practices, it was time for the first game and Sam was extremely nervous the entire day before the game. She was sick to her stomach and thought she was going to throw up right beforehand. She hadn’t told her mother about the game because she thought it would make her more nervous if her mother was there.
Just as the game was about to start, she questioned herself on why she took on this endeavor.
