Sam finished the day and wondered if she should go to the gym after school. Surely, the girls had heard what happened at lunch and she wondered how they would they react to her now. She never offered a denial when John accused her of being a dyke. What would she say if someone asked her directly? They believed she had a crush on a boy in class but she wasn’t sure what they would think now.
She went to her secluded library place to work out her thoughts. How open would Ms. Hamm be to have a lesbian on her team or how helpful would Ms. Kean be if she knew the truth about her? She thought to herself, there was no way those girls would trust her in a locker room or want her around because they would see it as a disgusting perversion and she should burn in an endless pit of fire.
