Chapter SixteenThroughout the drive to George's place, I'm reeling with conflicting emotions. Sure, things were complicated lately, but I still hoped we could get past it. But instead of making an effort, he drops a bomb of epic proportions on me. Finally, here's a guy I could imagine having a relationship with, who seemed reliable at least at first, but in the end, you can't depend on anyone but yourself. I should've known.
