LUCAS’S POV
As soon as I got a call from Katilyn, I booked the next flight back to Moon city. I arrived at my mansion very late and I met Katilyn standing at the top of the stairs.
“Where is my wife?” I asked as I reached the top of the stairs.
“She is asleep,” Katilyn replied
I walked into the room and saw Lena who was sound asleep with beads of sweat forming on her forehead. “How is she now?” I asked in a low voice to avoid waking her up.
"The doctor came during the day and gave her an IV drip. She fell asleep after taking the medication," Katilyn explained.
I stood by the bed and watched her with anxiousness in my heart. She has been putting too much stress on herself and didn't know when to stop and get some rest.
